In a sure sign that summer is just around the corner, Thursday marked the first day of this year’s Tacoma Farmers Market.

The weather couldn’t have been nicer – with clear skies and temperatures in the 70s – for the popular weekly event, open every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on South Broadway, between 9th and 11th streets. The Tacoma Farmers Market runs through Oct. 21.
