The City of Tacoma is scheduled to host a swearing-in ceremony for Tacoma Fire Chief James Duggan next month. City Manager T.C. Broadnax appointed Duggan, who has served as interim Fire Chief for nearly seven months, to the position permanently in September. Former chief Ronald W. Stephens retired on March 29. The swearing-in ceremony will be held on Fri., Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center, located at 1500 Broadway, in downtown Tacoma.
