The Tacoma Housing Authority will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony this month to celebrate the grand opening of the first phase of a new affordable housing facility in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood.
The first phase of Bay Terrace, which is located at 2550 S. G St., offers 16 town homes and 54 apartment-style units, and includes a 7,000-square-foot community/education center, as well as multi-purpose rooms for community programming. The two-phase project is designed by GGLO Design and built by Absher Construction Company.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Mon., Aug. 25, beginning at 11:30 a.m., and will include guided tours, guest speakers, light refreshments, and music.
