Tacoma Water joined with Seattle Public Utilities yesterday in announcing it is implementing stage one of its four-stage Water Shortage Response Plan. Stage one of the plan is an advisory stage that encourages Tacoma Water customers to start conserving water for a potential water shortage in the coming months. Current snowpack in the Green River watershed, which supplies Tacoma’s water, is at 1 percent of normal for this time of the year. Check the Tacoma Water Web site for more information and water-saving tips.
