The City of Tacoma and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber will present Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland’s 2015 State of the City Address in February.

Speaking on the theme “Tacoma Rising,” Mayor Strickland will review major accomplishments of 2014 and share plans for the new year on several topics, including Tacoma 2025, economic development, education, international relations, broadband Internet access, transportation, and President Barack Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” Challenge.

The event will be held at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center on Weds., Feb. 25, at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $40 in advance ($25 for students). More information is available online at tacomachamber.org.
