The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber has announced this year’s recipients of its Spotlight! On Business Awards.
The annual honorific recognizes Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber member businesses that have set the standard for exemplary business practices in several categories: small business (1-25 employees); medium business (26-50 employees); large business (51+ employees); non-profit organization; minority-owned business; veteran-owned business; and business supporter of the military (sponsored by Harborstone Credit Union).
Twenty-three organizations were nominated for the awards (see “Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber announces business award nominees,” Tacoma Daily Index, Sept. 8, 2015). The 2015 Spotlight! On Business Awards recipients include:
Small Business Award – Tacoma Musical Playhouse
Medium Business Award – Feed Commodities, LLC
Large Business Award – Point Ruston
Non-Profit Organization Award – USO Northwest
Minority Owned Business Award – Visiting Angels
Veteran-Owned Business Award – Odd Otter Brewing Company
Business Supporter of the Military Award – The Geneva Foundation
The 2015 Spotlight! On Business Awards recipients were announced at a luncheon ceremony on Weds., Sept. 23, at PJ Hummel & Co. in downtown Tacoma. Event sponsors included CenturyLink, Business Health Trust, Clear Channel Outdoor, Better Business Bureau, Tapco Credit Union, Harborstone Credit Union, Harry & David, ATGStores.com, The Geneva Foundation, Graham & Graham Eldercare Consultants, and Heritage Bank.
