Tacoma Alliance for Clean Technology and Sustainability (ACTS), facilitated by the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber, is soliciting applicants for its Pilot Program for “Green Businesses.” Businesses in all industries and sizes are encouraged to apply.
The Pilot Program will connect businesses in Pierce County with existing resources to help them assess and reduce their carbon footprints in ways that are cost-effective, measurable and long-term. It will strive to collaborate and build on existing state and local efforts in research on climate change and sustainability.
Leaders in TacomaACTS will select 15 businesses to participate in the initial year-long program. The Chamber and TacomaACTS will promote participating businesses and their efforts.
