Tee off at the Fourth Annual Tacoma Community College Open Golf Tournament beginning at 1 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Fort Lewis Golf Course in DuPont.
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser benefit TCC intercollegiate athletic programs and are used to fund scholarships, equipment and facilities improvements.
The revenue from this tournament helps us to improve the opportunities for our student athletes, said Steve Brown, TCC athletic director. It has been a fun tournament for all who have participated in the past. We look forward to this years event.
The tournament will feature a four-person scramble format. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third-place teams. Winners of the long drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one contests will also receive prizes. The $95 registration fee includes green fees, cart, complimentary range balls, dinner and tee prizes.
