The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has changed the way it funds the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. As a result, THA has been forced to change the way it runs the program.

THA has developed a plan for cutting voucher program costs, which is designed to avoid cancelling anyone’s voucher. More informationw will be available at the meeting.

The public meeting is set for today (July 13), at Life Center Church, 1717 South Union Ave., Tacoma, at 6 p.m.
