The wonderful thing about newspapers,
is newspapers are wonderful things.
Our hearts are made from our people,
with readers who pull on our strings.
We’re newsy, bluesy, some of us boozy-
don’t worry, you can be choosy.
We’re black and white and read all over,
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
The most wonderful thing about newspapers is there’s always more than one.
Investigative, Daily, weekly, too.
Business, community, even papers about the zoo.
We’re just here to tell you what we’ve heard,
It’s up to you whether you spread our words.
