Clover Park Technical College (CPTC) Board of Trustees will welcome two finalists for president June 27 June 29 for a series of special public forums.

Both candidates will visit the Lakewood campus located at 4500 Steilacoom Blvd SW between 11am and noon in Building 15 to personally meet and speak with staff, faculty, students, college officials and community leaders.

Dr. Dixie Simmons will answer questions and interact with college personnel and community leaders June 27. Dr. Simmons currently serves as the Vice President for Learning at the Institute for Extended Learning in Spokane, Washington.

Dr. John Walstrum will take questions from the public and greet faculty, staff, college and community officials June 29. Dr. Walstrum currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Central New Mexico Community College.

The community forums are free and open to the media and the public.
