Officials at Top Pot Doughnuts and Coffee announced Tuesday they will open the company’s first Tacoma location later this year.
“Opening a Top Pot Doughnuts and Coffee cafe in Tacoma is incredibly special to me,” said Top Pot Doughnuts co-founder Mark Klebeck. “South Tacoma is where my family grew up. It’s a great homecoming of sorts and we can’t wait to introduce our Tacoma family and friends to the doughnuts and coffee that have become famous throughout the United States.”
Top Pot Doughnuts was founded in 2002 in Seattle. The company owns and operates 19 stores.
The new Tacoma store will be located at 2724 N. Proctor St., a street-level storefront inside Proctor Station, a 154-unit apartment building currently under construction.
