At study session on May 19, Tacoma City Councilmembers are scheduled to receive an update from representatives with the Chambers Bay Golf Course regarding the 2010 U.S. Amateur Golf Championship. At the conclusion of the regular session, there will be a joint session with the Tacoma Planning Commission. The joint session will give Council the opportunity to continue their discussion of preliminary recommendations for revisions to regulations and zoning in 16 mixed-use centers. The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
