Tom Spilman, president of KeyBanks South Puget Sound District, will lead a seminar on business ethics at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the University of Washington, Tacoma.
At the seminar, presented by UW Tacomas KeyBank Professional Development Center, Spilman will discuss how business leaders can set the standard and define core values and essential characteristics of business ethics. Knowing whats right is important, Spilman says, but doing whats right is critical to both personal and business ethics. The class is presented as part of the Professional Development Centers Community Leaders Forum series.
Spilman, who has been president of KeyBanks South Puget Sound District since 2005, oversees more than 62 KeyCenters and 500 employees. His responsibilities include growing KeyBanks presence in retail, business and commercial banking. An active member of the South Sound community, Spilman attended Miami University of Ohio and started his career with KeyBank in Columbus.
