The World Trade Center Tacoma is hosting the Tacoma/Pierce County portion of the Washington State International Trade Week, on Thursday, May 2, at the Sheraton Tacoma.
This conference brings together business and government leaders from the Tacoma/Pierce County area with the states foreign office representatives from offices all over the world.
Local businesses will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of state representatives from Japan, South Korea, Europe, Canada, Mexico, China and Taiwan as they discuss trade and growth opportunities in these areas during a lunch program starting at noon.
Individual meetings are available in the morning or afternoon and are by appointment only.
Appointment preferences will be given to World Trade Center Tacoma members until April 19, after which appointments will be available to the public.
Non-members who call before April 19 will be placed on a waiting list for the remaining spots. These meetings are free.
