Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma will be closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 25.

The Zoo will reopen on Fri., Nov. 26, with shortened hours for that day only, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Zoo will reopen at 5 p.m. that evening for the kick-off of the 17th annual Zoolights holiday light display.

The Zoo will resume normal operating hours (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on Saturday, Nov. 27.

Zoolights will operate through Jan. 2 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with closures on the following dates: Nov. 29, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, Dec. 24, Dec. 25.
