Sure, its only September, but if youre looking for a special place to hold your holiday party, its not to early to consider Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
The building can accommodate gatherings of 20 to 200 people inside the balmy North Pacific Aquarium for Zoolights, the Pacific Northwests leading holiday light display.
The lights will shine this year from Nov. 29 through Dec. 31.
Rental packages are available for holiday parties, reunions, banquets and other occasions.
Each package includes discounted Zoolights admission tickets.
A special deal is available for groups of 75 or more that book zoo-catered events Dec. 2-4 or Dec. 9-11.
Because the Zoolights display will be closed to the public on those dates, the groups will have the zoo to themselves.
New to Zoolights this year will be a carousel display situated near the future site of the antique carousel that will open to the public in 2004.
Returning favorite displays include the flame tree, with some 30,000 purple, green and amber lights.
